| Our transportation experience is comprised of several areas involving Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting, Highway Tunnel Systems, and Light Rail projects. |
Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting Traffic signal installations range from temporary span wire installations to steel mast arm construction including foundations. Projects include Intelligent Traffic Systems installations, preemption systems, fiber optic closed loop and interconnect systems. Roadway lighting ranging from decorative antique-style streetlights to 150-foot-high mast interstate lighting systems. |

Highway Tunnel Systems
Sachs recently completed the electrical work on the first highway tunnel in Missouri. The Lindbergh Tunnel was built to support the runway expansion of Lambert International Airport. This tunnel included an integrated roadway lighting system, SCADA, UPS and generator back-up, access control system, fire alarm, linear heat detection, CO detection, CCTV, emergency telephone, radio RF and HAR, ITS traffic systems and message boards, ground water pavement monitoring and network equipment. Sachs Automation provided oversight and coordination of the systems integration. |

Light Rail Our project experience includes all phases of light rail construction. Infrastructure electrical installations including conduit systems, stray current mitigation, and station rough-ins. Traction Power substations, feeders, and overhead catenary systems. Train signals and control installations, including signal houses, cabling, bonding, switch machines, and crossings. |
Directional Boring We utilize our trenchless technology to install electrical and communication conduits in various sizes and configurations. A single 2-inch duct or multiple 5-inch ducts have been installed without disturbance to pavements, landscaping and other utilities within the bore path. It has become the owner friendly method for underground construction. |
